Nauszika Tari Westbrook's Testimony

Dear Lord God,

I am offering my testimony to You. I am so grateful at how You have changed my life. I know that You have been drawing me to You.

I always felt that my life was worthless. I wanted to do everything perfectly. I was never satisfied. I behaved selfishly when I didn't reach my desire. But I couldn't have been perfect. When nothing seemed to be successful and I was so down, I felt I must do something to change. I started searching. First, I looked inside me to see what was wrong. The way to God started to open for me. But still I was in a maze and lost. Although, I believed that there was God, I didn't know how to reach Him. I was interested in things beyond materialism I still thought I wasn't on the right way. I know God wanted to show me the way, as He knew I was searching intensively. He even dragged me off my wrong ways, He led me to the right place to find Him. I knew very little about God. As I heard more and more about Jesus it made it easier to recognize I was on the right way then.

It is interesting that I had to learn a foreign language in which I could hear His words. When I was younger and He spoke to me in my mother tongue I wasn't open to listen to Him. I wasn't aware of the fact of how relevant Jesus was to me. Even if He showed me one of the comforting verses when I needed:

Be delighted with the Lord. Then he will give you all your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him to help you do it and he will. (Psalms 37:4,5)

And three days later He fulfilled. I turned away from Him, but not forever; I just delayed having a relationship with Him.

Since then I have accepted Jesus into my heart. Jesus died on the cross for us to forgive our sins. What I have to do is to follow and trust Him. This is the only way to reach God. My friends from Texas came to Hungary to serve the Lord, and I am saved due to them. Now I know that I don't have to belong to any denominations to become a real believer. I have been learning more and more about Jesus. The more I learn the more my faith is stronger. First, I had to encourage myself with prayers. Now it became my passion to absorb His words through the Scriptures. My relationship with God is getting better through my prayers, which I do enjoy doing. The Holy Spirit leads me to be able to forgive people. Sometimes He surprises me with my own attitude. I can share my belief with others. I know how difficult it is to understand the Truth, but when you do it is a great release. As I obey God, He shows the way to me, and I don't have to worry about my future; He has given peace into my heart. Every day is the best day to praise Him. I feel His love and my love is deeper and deeper.

I haven't read the whole Bible yet, but I have been studying as many times as I can in order to understand what happened and what is going to happen to the believers and non‑believers. I have a desire to pray for the entire unsaved not to be blind and see the light as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely,
Nauszika Tari Westbrook

Jesus replied that people became thirsty again after drinking this water. “But the water I give them,” he said, “becomes a perpetual spring within them, watering them forever with eternal life.”  (John 4:13,14)
